The year is 1630 A.D. and death has come to Venice. The plague has returned to the Queen of the Adriatic once again¸ tainting this beautiful floating city with fear and placing it on the precipice of destruction. When a member of the Council of Ten is found dead by strange and mysterious causes¸ suspicions rise that something fouler than any worldly illness might be lurking within the city.
