Heroes of Icewind Dale features 13 subclasses¸ variant class features for every class¸ new spells¸ and new feats for your Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign or any other game set in in arctic lands or dangerous frontiers!
Steeped in lore and brimming with flavorful character options¸ this player's companion provides new rules balanced by playtesting and careful revision. Heroes of Icewind Dale is designed to inspire unique ideas and stories¸ with all the info you need to know who your character is¸ how they fit into the world¸ and how they contribute to your groups' adventures. This module includes:
13 new subclasses grounded in the lore of the Forgotten Realms yet archetypal enough to shine in any D&D game¸ such as: the mountain-prowling Wind Walker barbarian; frontier paladins bound by the old-school-inspired Oath of the Borderlands; the Sky Mage who masters the wizardry of air and flight; and the Witchbreaker¸ a new option for Matt Mercer's Blood Hunter class¸ inspired by the fantasy stories of Andrzej Sapkowski. Variant class features to enhance the existing classes with new fighting styles¸ useful new favored terrain options for rangers¸ new metamagic options for sorcerers¸ customizations for a monk's martial arts style¸ new artificer infusions¸ and more.
