Equipment Duration Rules! Although most campaigns don't bother with damaged equipment and duration¸ it can be interesting to do this. It can give the chance to spend the precious money earned in the adventures¸ it can also remark the importance of good quality equipment¸ or of dwarven craftsmanship. It can cement the friendship with a cranky blacksmith NPC. It can also enhance the importance of minor properties of magic items¸ and give a few moments of desperation when a sword suddenly breaks in the middle of a fight.
