"A horror game set in the 1930s¸ based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft. It uses a version of the ""GUMSHOE"" system that first appeared in The Esoterrorists. It uses diceless point-spending to resolve investigative skills¸ and die rolls modified by points for core skills. Character creation is limited point-based¸ with no attributes and splitting between the 39 investigative skills and the 13 core skills. Characters have two ratings for mental health: Stability (short-term¸ affected by mundane horrors) and Sanity (long-term¸ affected by Cthulhu mythos exposure and knowledge). - A description from https://darkshire.net/jhkim/rpg/encyclopedia/ with kind permission of John H.
