The year is 2909 and the Emperor is dying. As per the treaty of 2413 a new Emperor must be named by Senate vote. The Imperial selection committee will convene in just a few weeks; at the moment there are no clear candidates. The player takes the part of an Imperial Senator from one of the great houses. He or she must use political power within the senate to influence the selection committee. Only through great prestige will the new emperor¸ or empress be crowned. Each player takes a deck comprised of Instants¸ Improvements¸ Military Units¸ Characters¸ Planets and Industries. Using a combination of these cards¸ the player uses his or her deck to build prestige from 10 prestige points to 40 points prestige. One deck per player¸ with 5 different great houses to choose from! Each deck can be played out of the box or can be combined with others!
